A couple of other notes from practice. Freshman Gerrell Robinson got reps with 2nd team. A lot of balls went his way. Brandon Smith had a couple of big plays and Kyle Williams had a long TD.
Keegan Herring did not practice. After the session Erickson said this was something he has dealt with in the past and only expects him to miss a couple of practices.
With Herring down Shaun DeWitty and Dimitri Nance got reps with the first team. During 11 on 11 drills DeWitty got a good amount of snaps with the first unit.
I haven’t been to a lot of practices, but it seemed pretty physical for just shells, guys were hitting each other hard.
