The Arizona Cardinals are in a tough situation with Anquan Boldin’s latest comments.
As I read these comments, what comes to my mind, is that he is feeling that he has been lied to in receiving a new contract, and is upset with head coach Ken Whisenhunt, for being involved in his negotiations. As this continues, I also sense that Anquan is feeling disrespected and underappreciated for all he has done for this organization.
For a NFL organization, these type of issues are going to come up every 3-5 years, or so we thought. It seems as if this is starting to happen more often in the NFL, even though players may have several years remaining on their current contracts.
Don’t be fooled into thinking that The Arizona Cardinals don’t have other NFL players, as well as their own players, watching this latest soap opera unfold.
They must take a stand and stick to their guns if they continue to say NO TRADE to Anquan.
If the Arizona Cardinals cave in, and trade or renegotiate Anquan Bodins contract, it will ring volumes to other players, like Adrian Wilson, Karlos Dansby, Darnell Dockett, and most of all Kurt Warner, that the Cardinals can be moved to cough up the doe with threats and constant chatter from that certain player.
Don’t do it Arizona. Bring some respect and integrity back to why teams developed contracts, and hold firm to the notion that you are in control and not the player. Don’t let the tail wag the dog, or in this case the Bird.

Couldn’t agree more. The Card’s have all the leverage in this and it is a typical power play by Rosenhous that is going to back fire in Boldin’s face.

you are wrong guys, boldin should be paid, they shouldnt have paid fitzgerald that much, boldin i feel is the tougher better more talented receiver, the cards need to do whatever they can to keep q happy and wearing cardinal red. and never let the damn coach up in the negotiating room, hes not the gm. thats why you pay rod graves. keep wisenhunt on the feild not in somebodys negotiation.

Boldin’s state have gone down each of the past three years (just 853 rec yards last year). He averaged just 71 yards per game. Fitzgerald, on the other hand, had another 1400+ yard year.
C’mon - it’s not even close.
