HOUR 1

Kevin McCabe filled in for Roc.

About 30 minutes before we came on the air, the Cardinals announced that the playoff game against the Falcons would be on TV. They cut it close as Arizona’s NFL franchise had to get the last possible exception to get all their tickets sold.

 

Edgerrin James came out and said that he does not think he will be with the Cardinals next year on the eve of their playoff game against the Falcons. McCabe appreciates the honesty, but Manuch thinks it was not the right time to make comments on that subject. Why not just wait till the season is over?

Keith Moreland, Color Analyst for the Longhorns Radio Network checked in with the M&M boys to preview the Fiesta Bowl. After watching USC dominate Penn State last night it was very obvious that the speed on the Trojan side was incredible compared to that of PSU. Moreland sees Ohio State having the same type of problem with Texas. Ohio State starters have equal ability to UT; the difference between the teams is in the depth.

 

HOUR 2

Dennis Dodd College Football Writer from Cbssports.com joined McCabe and Manuch. Dennis does not think that USC deserves a share of the national title. He thinks USC dropped in the ranking because voters have become fed up with the Trojans weak regular season loses. The guys previewed the Fiesta Bowl. Texas front 7 is incredible and Dennis sees them doing a great job corralling Terrelle Pryor. The Gators and Sooners meet on Thursday for the National Championship game, Dennis likes Florida because of their D and Oklahoma’s special teams are awful. They have given up four kick returns for TD’s this season.

 

Hour 3

Football Handicapper Scott Spreitzer handicapped a huge weekend of football. In the National Championship game Scott selected Florida –3 vs. Oklahoma. For Wild Card Weekend Spreitzer liked the Vikings +3 against the Eagles, Dolphins +3.5 vs. the Ravens, the Cardinals +3 against the Falcons, and the Colts –1 @ the Chargers.
