HOUR 1

The NBA issued the suspensions for Suns-Rockets scuffle on Wednesday night. Matt Barnes and Rafer Alson were both hit with two game suspensions. Steve Nash will miss one game and Shaq was issued a fine. Roc and Manuch both agree with the penalties.

Grant Napear the play by play voice of the Sacramento Kings checked in with R&M for the In the Paint segment. He thinks head coach Reggie Theus has this young Kings team heading in the right direction. Matt Barnes is from Sacramento and Grant gave the guys some insight on Matt Barnes the person. Napear said Matt is down to earth and a very good person, but he is a competitor and he will not back down.

Former ASU Sun Devil Scott Peters came on with Roc and Manuch. Scott looked back at how he got involved with MMA, wonders if Arizona State football has the character to go on a run and make a bowl game, but he does think the future is bright.

HOUR 2

R&M were joined by Tom Dillon, Sports USA Radio play-by-play announcer who is covering the Cardinals-Seahawks game on Sunday. Tom enjoys Monday Night Football, but would like to stick a sock in Tony Kornheiser’s mouth. His theme for the Arizona Cardinals game is what Seattle’s offense will look like with Matt Hasselback back and are the Redbirds for real. Dillon wants to see the Cards running game get going to take pressure off Warner and the receivers.

We went around the NFL for our sounds of the week…Brett Favre was ecstatic the Jets defeated the Patriots…TO and the Cowboys are getting ready for the division rival Washington Redskins…Ray Lewis wants the Ravens to treat every opponent equal…Romeo Crennel does not think the Cleveland Browns are quitters.

HOUR 3

Football Handicapper Scott Spritzer gave us his picks for this week’s college and NFL games. In college he likes South Carolina getting 23 against Florida. In the NFL he selected the over (42) of the Pittsburgh-San Diego game, Cards –3 on the road against the Seahawks, and Green Bay getting 3.5 against the Bears.
