HOUR 1

The Suns continue their swing through the East Coast in the Windy City. The Phoenix Suns take on the 2-3 Chicago Bulls. Sam Smith from Bulls.com checked in and told us that rookie Derrick Rose is the most athletic point guard he has ever seen and the media has exaggerated the problems between the players and Vinny Del Negro.

Brandon Marshall scored the game winning TD for the Denver Broncos last night against the Cleveland Browns.  Marshall had a special touchdown celebration planned that would have honored Barack Obama getting elected president and showing America coming together as a country.  Brandon Stoakley stopped him and saved the Broncos from getting a huge 15-yard celebration penalty. Manuch and Jim had no problem with the point he was trying to make, but debated whether the football field is the right place to make it.

 

HOUR 2

Barry Bloom joined the guys to wrap up the MLB winter meetings. The main two topics of discussion were Manny Ramirez and Jake Peavy. Barry thinks Peavy could end up with the Atlanta Braves.

We had our Sounds from the Around the NFL to preview Week 10. This week we heard from Romeo Crennel on the pathetic Browns D…Tom Cable discussing the release of DeAngelo Hall…Rod Miranelli happy the Lions picked up Daunte Culpepper…Jack Del Rio ripping the Jaguars.

 

HOUR 3

Scott Spritzer, Football Handicapper was back after a week off. In College he likes Nebraska as a favorite against Kansas, Oklahoma State as a dog against Texas Tech, Alabama as a favorite verses LSU. For the NFL Scott likes the Pats as a favorite against the Bills, the Eagles taking out the Giants at home with the points, and Minnesota as a home favorite against the Packers.
