Monday’s Roc and Manuch Interviews Ref Takes Out Gamecock!
Oct 20

Monday 10/20 Edition of Roc and Manuch

“Your Drive Home Sports Alternative”

Hour 1

The World Series is set; the Philadelphia Phillies will take on the Tampa Bay Rays who avoided disaster by taking game seven against the Boston Red Sox.   An interesting weekend of football and the BCS standings were released; Texas is #1 after beating Oklahoma and Missouri back to back weeks.  No time to celebrate they have undefeated Oklahoma State coming up on Saturday.

Arizona Republic NFL Writer Bob McManaman wrapped up week 7 of the NFL and discussed the coaching carousel that continues to spin.

Hour 2

Craig Fouhy checked in for his Fact or Fouhy segment.  Fouhy thinks that ASU basketball is in better shape than the ASU football fan and does not think the Cardinals will be able to defeat the Panthers on the rode this Sunday.

R&M gave their good, the bad, and the ugly of the weekend.  The Cowboys were clearly the ugly and the Rays were the feel good story.

Manuch critiqued the quarterback play for Saturday and Sunday, this week the victims were Sam Bradford, Willie Tuitama, JaMarcus Russell, Jake Delhomme, and Trent Edwards.

Hour 3

Former Philadelphia Phillies Left Fielder Pete Incaviglia checked in with the guys.  If you see the highlight of Joe Carter’s Game 6 World Series Home Run, it flies over Incaviglia’s head.  He talked about the great memories he had with that 1993 Phillies team.

The M&M boys McCabe and Manuch wrapped up the show.  They dealt with the breaking news reported by Chris Mortensen that Mike Nolan had been fired as San Francisco 49ers head coach.  Mike Singletary was named as his replacement.
