Monday’s Interviews on Roc and Manuch Tuesday on Calling All Sports with Roc and Manuch
Dec 22

Monday 12-22 Edition of Roc and Manuch

Your Drive Home Sports Alternative

HOUR 1

Manuch could not believe how badly the Cardinals played against the Patriots on Sunday. Roc refused to discuss the game. The Cardinals haven’t shown up in two weeks so he put his foot down because if they don’t have to play on Sundays, we do not have to talk about them Monday through Friday.

Bob McManaman, NFL Writer for the Arizona Republic checked in for his weekly segment. Bob thinks that Eric Mangini is gone if the Jets do not find the backdoor into the playoffs. The most interesting game this Sunday is Chad Pennington going back to the Meadowlands to try and win the division against his former team.

HOUR 2

Craig Fouhy from ABC 15 joined R&M for his Fact or Fouhy segment. The questions did not include anything about the Cardinals. Craig was very happy with the Phoenix Suns dancer calendar he received. Fouhy thinks Barbosa will be the next Suns player to be traded and Stoops will not be with the Wildcats long term.

Roc and Manuch gave their good, bad, and the ugly of the weekend. This week’s good included the Arizona Wildcats winning the Las Vegas Bowl, Minnesota defeating Louisville at the Stadium Shootout, the Celtics winning 18 straight games, and Grant Hill shutting down Carmelo Anthony. The bad was Tony Romo’s turnovers and attendance at the Stadium Shootout. The ugly was the Arizona Cardinals.

Rob Parker badgered Detroit Lions head coach Rod Marinelli about his son in law who is the defensive coordinator. R&M think Parker made a fool of himself and thought his actions were despicable. The unfortunate thing is this incident will probably help him move ahead with his career.

Hour 3

Former Arizona Cardinals cornerback Aeneas Williams caught up with the guys. Aeneas is currently a pastor in St. Louis and owns a car dealership in Louisiana. Williams discussed the Cardinals secondary and why it has struggled. He said that running the ball is critical to the Cards success down the stretch.

Roc and Manuch had Qadry Ismail on Monday instead of his regular Thursday segment because we are not on Thursday. The rookie that graduated Q School was Miami Dolphins WR Davone Bess. The team that needs to go back to Q School was the New York Jets.
