Monday 7/14/2008 Edition of Roc and Manuch
“Your Drive Home Sports Alternative”

HOUR 1

*The Brett Favre saga continues.  Roc and Manuch both believe Favre brought the situation upon himself.  They discussed who the villain in the situation is; Favre or the Packers.  Is this going to have any effect on Brett’s legacy?

*Billy Packer and CBS have parted ways.  For the first time in 34 years when we tune into the Final Four we will not hear Packer’s voice.  In studio analyst Clark Kellogg will take his place.  Roc thinks he’s boring.

*Craig Fouhy from ABC 15 stopped in for his Fact or Fouhy segment; talked Diamondbacks, Billy Packer, and Brett Favre.

HOUR 2

*The Police blotter will not go away.  Athletes continue to get in trouble and we will continue to make fun of them.  Matt Jones was back in the news for his incident from a couple days ago.  Plus former Bengal WR Chris Henry had his assault chargers dropped.  He will apply for reinstatement to the NFL

*Home Town Report Seattle:  Ian Furness from KJR 950 in Seattle went over the happenings in the rainy city.  The Mariners are struggling, Ian thinks the Seahawks are going to make noise in the NFC, and he is not a fan of the University of Washington’s Ty Willingham.

HOUR 3

*Vai Sikahema from NBC 10 in Philly joined the guys.  He went over the beating he gave Jose Canseco.

*Tim Donaghy’s name is back in the news and this time he has some company.  Donaghy and Scott Foster were in contact 134 times from Oct 2006 to April 2007.  A lot of those calls were placed immediately before and after games Donaghy worked.  Something smells fishy.  David Stern said Tim was a “rogue official.”  Is the NBA commissioner going to eat his words?

Tuesday’s Show

*Boxing Great George Foreman

*Jam Session with Jamal Anderson

*Home Town Report: Cleveland
