Monday 8/11/2008 Edition of Roc and Manuch
“Your Drive Home Sports Alternative”
The Arizona Diamondbacks acquired Adam Dunn from the Cincinnati Reds for three prospects. Both Roc and Manuch like the deal. They think Dunn is the big bat in the middle of the lineup that the Dbacks need. Alan Cutler morning host on 1530 the homer in Cincinnati told us about some of his downfalls: striking out, awful at sacrifice flies, terrible fielder.
Craig Fouhy from ABC 15 played Fact or Fouhy. He gave his thoughts on Adam Dunn trade and gave us an update live from Cardinals camp.
HOUR 2
Zach Rosenfield NFL Analyst for Accuscore discussed his system with Roc and Manuch. They previewed the Arizona Cardinals 2008-09 season.
Our NFL Two-A-Days headed out to Washington. Kelli Johnson from Comcast and the sideline reporter for Saturday’s Redskins-Jets game talked about new head coach Jim Zorn, former Auburn University QB Jason Campbell, and the change in philosophy for Redskins management.
HOUR 3
The third hour began with former Chicago Cubs 3rd baseman and WGN broadcaster Ron Santo. Santo went over his career, this year’s version of the Cubs, and the Diamondbacks picking up Adam Dunn.
The second of our NFL Two-A-Days focused on the Dallas Cowboys. Calvin Watkins from the Dallas Morning news updated us on the happenings at Cowboys training camp including Wade Phillips status as the head coach Sand how Adam Jones and Tank Johnson are fitting in.
