Monday 9/22 Edition of Roc and Manuch

“Your Drive Home Sports Alternative”

Hour 1

Roc and Manuch started the show off with the Good, Bad, and the Ugly of the weekend. The Ugly was ASU dropping to 2-2 with an uninspiring loss to Georgia. R&M did not like that Joe Torre was not mentioned during the ceremony.

Charles Robinson Yahoo.com NFL writer joined the guys to wrap of Week 3 of the NFL. They also discussed two major injuries that occurred on Sunday, Al Harris, Packers CB is possibly out for the season and Jeremy Shockey is going to miss significant time with the Saints.

After an exciting week 3 we heard bytes from around the NFL. Randy Moss and Bill Belichick discussed the Patriots loss to the Dolphins. Tony Dungy was not happy with his run defense. Brian Dawkins liked the pressure they got on Big Ben and Dick Jauron was happy with poise his young Buffalo Bills team showed.

Hour 2

Craig Fouhy helped us transition into the two local teams. We did our Fact or Fouhy segment concentrating on the losses by the Arizona Cardinals and the Arizona State Sun Devils.

Roc and Manuch both thought Dennis Erickson coached a very conservative game. Everyone knew it would be difficult to run the ball but Manuch thought ASU stuck with the “smush” mouth football gameplan.

Hour 3

McCabe filled in for Roc in the last hour. The guys continued to talk about the terrible sports weekend for Arizona football. The guys gave their thoughts on Dennis Erickson’s play calling and Ken Whisenhunt’s decision to punt on 4th and 4 with under three minutes left in the 4th quarter.
