Once again I had to work this past weekend. My third straight! Minnesota last weekend and Philly the week before.
This past weekend’s roadtrip took me and a couple Bowl buddies to Indiana University. We were treated to a IU/Anderson College exhibition hoop game on Friday night - Head Coach Tom Crean’s first game and an afternoon affair with IU/Wisconsin. The fans love this guy! He seems to be the right fit to bring Hoosier basketball back to prominence. His team is extremely young and quick. They could be a sleeper in the Big 10.
For the football team - injuries, injuries and more injuries. Coach Lynch has lost over 11 starters and over 35 games by a starter, all due to injuries. On Saturday, the Hoosiers played a great first half, only down by a few at half, but again injuries knocked out some more starters and the team couldn’t hang with the Badgers. IU used four quarterbacks. Three were knocked out of the game. Tough break for the Hoosiers. They are at Penn State this weekend.
Here are some of the pictures:
Of course, we got lucky and sat courtside!
Yah, yah! They knew I was coming!
It was freezing! These are our snowmen suits. Pictured are my buddies Patrick and Greg from the Insight Bowl and Fiesta Bowl.
