Suns-Spurs Notes…Suns Flex Muscles in San Antonio

 

-I was impressed with Coach Porter’s offense; he did a good job of getting touches to Shaq, Amare, and Steve Nash was still able to be himself.

 

-I like Grant Hill playing with the second unit.  With him LB, and Diaw the Suns should be able to handle Nash playing on the bench even though they did not show it last night. 

 

-Diaw didn’t have a huge night stat wise, but was aggressive on the offensive and defensive end, Coach Porter had to be happy with his play.

 

-I was very surprised with the play of Goran Dragic.  I thought the speed of the game would be tough for him to adjust to.  He handled the pressure from Jacque Vaughn very well.  He had a beautiful pass to Boris that led to a dunk.

 

-Stat and LB were huge in the 4^th quarter.

 

-Let’s see them keep it up.  I don’t think Shaq can play at that level every night and they will need to get more out of Amare and Bell.
