We all have bad days! Friday on Calling All Sports with Roc and Manuch
Oct 09

Thursday 10/9 Edition of Roc and Manuch

“Your Drive Home Sports Alternative”

Hour 1

The Red River Rivalry is on Saturday and Roc and Manuch can not stand that it is no longer called the Red River Shootout.  They wonder why everything in America has to be politically correct.  They go out of their way throughout the show to piss the people off that have caused the United States to become this way.

Former Heisman Trophy winner or Heisman Trophy winner, another debate for R&M, Gino Torretta checked in.  He is doing the color commentary for the ASU-USC game on his network, Touchdown Radio Productions.  At the beginning of the season this game was supposed to decide the Pac 10, HA.  Gino is not as impressed with the depth of USC’s backfield as other analyst around college football.

Hour 2

Dennis Dodd from Cbssports.com stopped by for his weekly segment.  The guys previewed all the huge games this weekend including Oklahoma-Texas, Missouri-Oklahoma State, Florida-LSU, Nebraska-Texas Tech, and Georgia-Tennessee.  It’s funny how all the big games are from the SEC and Big 12.

Craig Davis from fantasyfootball.com told callers who to start and who to sit for week 6 of the NFL season.

Hour 3

The big third hour started with Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl Safety Ken Hamlin.  Hamlin still expects the Cowboys secondary to perform well even though they will be without Terrence Newman and Roy Williams.  He also said the expectations have not gotten to Boys and they take the season game by game.  Always love a good cliché.

Qadry Ismail was the last guest of the day with his Q School segment.  He sent Texans QB Matt Schaub back to school because he could not handle a little tummy ache.  Manuch tried to defend him but Q would have none of it.
