The Diamondbacks got swept in San Diego by one of the worst teams in baseball. The Dodgers series starts on Friday. Instant Replay starts tonight it will be interesting to see if it ends up getting used. Manuch thinks there should have been some trial runs before they started using them in games that counted.
Adam “Pacman” Jones was reinstated by Commissioner Goodell. R&M both think this was the wrong decision. Manuch doesn’t like that a roster spot has gotten take away from a good citizen. Roc thinks Jerry Jones played a big role in Pacman being allowed to play in Week 1.
College Football season kicks off tonight. Cbssportsline.com CFB writer Dennis Dodd checked in to preview tonight’s action along with his thoughts on LSU, Louisville-Kentucky, Clemson-Alabama, and his national championship prediction of Oklahoma and Ohio State. We know he is screwed because that is what Roc said.
To continue the football filled second hour, we were joined by Fantasyfootball.com’s Craig Davis. Craig can’t believe how high Marvin Harrison is getting drafted and likes Adrian Peterson as the #2 running back behind LT.
Q School with Qadry Ismail was live from Baltimore as Qadry was working the Ravens final pre season game. Unlike R&M Q believes in 2nd chances for Pacman Jones and told us how boring the pre season finale was between Baltimore and Atlanta.
