Thursday 9/18 Edition of Roc and Manuch

The Mountain West Conference had a huge weekend especially against the Pac-10, highlighted by BYU smoking UCLA 59-0. Roc and Manuch think their needs to be another BCS game to accompany the quality programs in the small conferences.

Roger Goodell has decided that he is going to be very strict with on-field illegal hits. Even suspending first time offenders. Shockingly, R&M agreed on the 2^nd topic. They both believe that its football and Goodell is trying to dumb down the game. Let the men hit, it’s entertaining.

Hour 2

 

The 2^nd hour started with Cbssportsline.com CBF writer Dennis Dodd. Dodd previewed all of the big games including ASU-Georgia, LSU-Auburn, and Tennessee-Florida. He thinks the first team to double digits will take the battle of the Tigers.

Craig Davis from Fantasyfootball.com checked in with Roc and Manuch. The trio took calls and gave advice to the listeners on who to play and who to sit on their fantasy football teams.

 

In third hour we had our Q School Segment with Qadry Ismail. He kicked Brad Childress out of Q school for giving up on Tavaris Jackson so quickly and rookie Flex Jones graduated for his kick return TD on Monday Night Football against the Eagles. The highlight of the interview and the show was Qadry’s rant about his alma mater Syracuse. He is not very high on the Orange and their coach Greg Robinson.
