Minnesota Gophers Head Coach Tubby Smith checked in with Roc and Manuch to preview this weekend’s Stadium Shootout in Glendale. A game against Louisville is a great measuring stick for Coach Smith’s 9-0 Gophers team. Tubby wants to see his Minnesota team to be consistent and he also talked about the local Lawrence Westbrook.
Roc and Manuch were joined by the B Train, Bertrand Berry and talked with him about the Charlie Weis situation at Notre Dame. Berry did not sound like he was a huge fan of Coach Weis. With a tough game in New England coming up on Sunday, Bertrand wants to see the Cardinals get back to basics. He thinks it is imperative for the Cards to go into playoffs on a high note.

Phoenix Suns great Tom Chambers checked in for his weekly Suns report with the guys. Tom told R&M that Coach Porter wants to make sure that Shaq is getting touches when he is in the game, Amare is starting to understand that he can do things besides scoring to help the team win, and Jason Richardson is going to be a great weapon for the Suns to utilize.
Hour 3
The Minnesota Gophers Head Football Coach Tim Brewster joined Roc and Manuch. The Gophers will be in the valley for the Insight Bowl where they take on the Kansas Jayhawks. Coach Brewster discussed the difference between being involved with the NFL and College. Just making a bowl game is not the goal for Minnesota, the Gophers want to come out to Glendale and win the Insight Bowl.
Roc and Manuch caught up with Louisville Basketball Head Coach Rick Pitino. Coach Pitino previewed this weekend’s Stadium Shootout. Louisville squares off against the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Pitino talked about what Earl Clark returning meant to his team and what it was going to be like facing off against another former Kentucky Head Coach, Tubby Smith.
