“Dr. J” Headlines Roc and Manuch-Tuesday Wednesday on McCabe and Friends
Sep 02

Tuesday 9/2 Edition of Roc and Manuch

“Your Drive Home Sports Alternative”

Hour 1

Roc and Manuch wrapped up Labor Day weekend. It was the first week of College Football and Manuch thought it was one of the best opening weekends he could remember.

Hour 2

R&M got back into College Football to start the 2nd hour. They broke down Arizona State’s win over NAU and what was the most impressive upset. The consensus was Arkansas State defeating Texas A&M.

Kurt Warner was officially named the starter for Week 1 against the 49ers. Roc and Manuch think it was the right decision. Roc wished the Cards never announced Leinart as the starter. There will be more to come on the Cards first game later in the week.

An amazing baseball game at Chase Field last night. The Diamondbacks defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 8-6 and Stephen Drew hit for the first cycle at Chase Field. Brad Steinke saw it all live and he previewed the rest of Dbacks-Cards series.

Hour 3

We were joined by NBA Great “Dr. J” Julius Erving and his cat. Dr. J reminisced about his playing career, gave us his thoughts on today’s players, told us about the Dr. Pepper commercial, and his golf course-The Heritage Golf Club in Atl, Georgia.
