Wednesday 10/22 Edition of Roc and Manuch

Hour 1

Only two hours of Roc and Manuch today due to the World Series Game 1 being on the FAN AM 1060.  The guys started off the shortened edition previewing the Fall Classic.

 

Rick Horrow checked in for his weekly segment on the business side of sports, this week he hit on the economics of the World Series.  Roc also discussed his new hobby oneseason.com with Horrow.

 

To close the sound bytes from Brett Favre’s press conference that took place earlier in the day.  He admitted to talking to Matt Millen, but said he did nothing wrong.  Roc think Favre is a liar and does not trust anything that comes out of his mouth.

 

Hour 2

Roc and Manuch previewed the Arizona-USC game and the Arizona State-Oregon game.  Both R&M think Rudy Carpenter is delusional when he said ASU could still win nine games.  We heard Willie Tuitama talk about facing USC defense and the Wildcats offense needs to do to be successful.  Tuitama was on McCabe and Friends earlier in the day.

College Football Coaching great Vince Dooley caught up with Roc and Manuch.  The former Georgia Bulldogs Head Coach gave his thoughts on college football today, what stadium he found most difficult to play in when he was coaching, and gave props to ASU legend Frank Kush.

With the World Series Game 1 coming up on the FAN 1060 AM Roc and Manuch did their pre game show.  Roc picked the Phillies to win and gave his three keys; Manuch did the same with the Rays.
