Wednesday 11-26 Edition of Roc and Manuch
Your Drive Home Sports Alternative
Today was a special Thanksgiving edition of Roc and Manuch. The guys rehashed their Turkey’s of the year from 2007 and discussed Stuart Appelby’s recent comments about John Daly.
Rick Horrow, the Sports Professor checked in for his segment on the business side of sports. The topics he hit on this week were the pro bowl possibly moving to the week before the Super Bowl, watching the NFL in 3-D at a movie theater, and the slow moving free agent season in baseball.
The Phoenix Suns snuck past the Oklahoma City Thunder, riding Steve Nash’s late game heroics. Brad Steinke broke the game down; he was not impressed with Suns chemistry. Steinke is not a fan of the Suns sitting Shaq for certain regular season games.
HOUR 2
The whole second hour was the 5th Annual 2008 Roc and Manuch Turkey’s of the Year. #’10-#1 plus the honorable mentions will be posted in a separate blog.
HOUR 3
Football Handicapper Scott Spreitzer joined Roc and Manuch to handicap a Thanksgiving weekend filled with football. In college he took Oklahoma State +7.5 at home vs Oklahoma, the under of the Alabama-Auburn, Oregon +3.5 vs Oregon State. In the NFL Scott selected Tennessee –11 @ Detroit, the Cards –2 @ Philly, and Dallas –12.5 @ Seattle.
Have a Great Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!
