Hour 1
 

 

Roc and Manuch are very intrigued with how the economy is affecting sports. Rick Horrow checked in for his weekly business side of sports segment and told us how the economy affects different sports in different states.

The Phoenix Suns open their pre season schedule tonight against the Atlanta Hawks. FSN Arizona’s Brad Steinke let us know what to expect from the Suns. He also informed the guys that the Suns were not happy that Shaq was not around the team more in the off season.

Hour 2

 

 

Legendary Arizona State Coach Frank Kush was the guest for the Valley Luna Sun Devil segment and he previewed this weekend’s game against USC.

Ball State Athletic Director Tom Collins called into R&M to discuss the Ball State Cardinals entering the top 25 for the first time ever. Tom told us what he has done to help improve the program since he took over and how they compete with the Big 10 schools that surround them.

The Dallas Cowboys are in town this weekend and there is not one person that hates “America’s Team” more than boxing historian Bert Sugar. Bert told us some great stories about the old Cowboys team and said the Steelers have the biggest following across the US.

Hour 3
 

 

To start the third hour Rene Lachemann who is currently with the Colorado Sky Sox organization, and has managed the Marlins, Mariners, and Brewers broke down the ALCS and the NLCS. He predicted the World Series would be the Red Sox and Dodgers. Rene also wants to see the first round extended from five games to seven games.
